All Stuff scrolls can be overwritten with a magic marker.

Strategies:

All Stuffcode scrolls are useful because they can be overwritten. If you are not collecting Stuffcode and come across one, the nice thing to do is put it up on auction for someone who wants it.

It could be argued, but I would say the most important scroll is blessing. With it you can really leverage the power of all other stuffcode, and without it you are often hamstrung. When you find a scroll of blessing, you should take it to an oracle and "identify blessing status".

If your blessing is cursed, hang onto it, it will still be useful later. If your blessing is blessed, so are you! However you should still hang onto it until you find a second blessing scroll (status unimportant) so that when you read your blessed scroll, you will have a new blessed blessing in reserve. If your blessing is uncursed, don't waste it by using it to bless a single item. Find a second blessing scroll. If the second is not blessed, you can use your first blessing to bless it.

Say you find 2 blessing scrolls that are both cursed? Now having an uncursed (or blessed) remove curse scroll becomes important, so that you can uncurse one of them and use that one to bless the other. (You could also have a mageslayer disenchant to remove the curse, but there is a chance that will destroy the scroll so it's not recommended.)

The other scroll in contention for "most important" is Stuff creation. With it, you can create any item. The state will be random, so you will need to identify or bless whatever you create. These scrolls are very rare, and most often found by using a blessed scroll of Stuff location.

Once you have a couple blessed blessings and a creation. What to create?

#1 - a pen (magic marker)
#2 - a pycc (Platinum Yendorian Chextra Card)
#3 - a scroll of blessing (if needed to bless your marker)
#4 - a ring of gain stat
#5 - an amulet of healing, salvation or agility
#6 - potions of mutation or experience

Other Scrolls:

There are other scrolls on the mud which are not Stuffcode, and do not follow the same rules.

Chaos / Spellcaster Scrolls:

Scrolls found in Chaos and the Spellcaster guild can be scribed onto a blank scroll with sufficient skill. (no magic marker needed)

a blank scroll
a dwarven raincheck
a scroll of darkness
a scroll of fireball
a scroll of great healing
a scroll of healing
a scroll of plague of rats
a scroll of reverse damage

Kanori Scrolls:

Scrolls in Kanori appear as 'a scroll' unless you have sufficient language skill to read them, or identify them at an oracle. Kanori has its own set of languages that can be studied at various locations throughout Kanori.

Kanori scrolls will tell you the level of wizard which created them in the long description. This does not correspond to your skill level, but does give you a sense of how powerful the spell is. More powerful spells have higher Int and language requirements to cast, and spellcasters and those with higher stats will have a greater chance of casting succesfully.
